| Jacob's Ladder |
Today we are on an island in the middle of the Atlantic
Ocean. We had to take a tender to the
island. We climbed a staircase called
Jacob’s Ladder. It has 699 steps up to
the top. We also walked back down. We got a certificate saying we did it.
We walked through the town after and went to the post office
to get stamps from this remote place.
This is the island where the British sent Napoleon after he escaped his first prison on Elba
