Seeing Singapore

March 17-18 Singapore

We arrived in Singapore in the afternoon.  We took Hop on Hop off bus the first day and went to the Singapore Flyer.  The Flyer is a huge ferris wheel.  It takes 30 min to go around one time.  We could see all over the city from there.  It was fun.

On the bus we drove through the old parts of Singapore.  Little India and Chinatown were very busy.  We also saw the famous Raffles Hotel.  It is named for Stamford Raffles the first westerner to come and settle in Singapore.

The next morning, we took the bus some more.  We got off in Chinatown and saw a Hindu temple.  We had to take off our shoes to go in the temple.  It was cool.  We walked around Chinatown after.  I got a chop with my name in English and Chinese on it.  They made it just for me.  We also walked around Little India.  I got a dragon tattoo there.

In the afternoon, mom and I went to Universal Studios. We rode a bunch of rides.  My favorite was the roller coaster in Shrek’s Far Far Away land.  I also liked the Soaring Dinosaur ride in Jurassic Park.  They also have a Madagascar land there too.  It was very hot that day.  When we went to the Hard Rock Café to get my pin, there were lots of girls waiting to see Demi Lovato perform that night.  It was crazy.
