Today we are in Sri Lanka.  It is near India. It was really hot here.  We went on a ship tour to a Buddhist temple.  It was busy there because it was a public holiday celebrating the full moon.  The Buddhists bring food and flowers to offer to Buddha.  There was a very large building with lots of art. The Buddha there was laying down.  Before this, we had only seen ones sitting.

The kids were going to church school. We also saw lots monks dressed in orange robes.  I took a picture with one.  When we were leaving I bowed my head and said thank you to the monk and he did a blessing for me.

We now have 3 days at sea before we get to the Seychelles.
